A patient at M. Yunus hospital in Bengkulu is treated outside the quake damaged hospital on September 13, 2007 in Bengkulu province, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. At least 10 people have been killed, dozens injured and hundreds of homes and buildings damaged by a 7.9 magnitude earthquake which hit Sumatra yesterday, prompting a tsunami warning. The tremor was felt in neighbouring Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, and triggered panic as far as East Africa. Powerful aftershocks have continued to hit Sumatra today.
