Elephant soak people as part of celebrations for the upcoming Thai New Year, on April 10, 2008 in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Thai's are getting ready to celebrate the Thai New Year, called Songkran, a three-day holiday which is celebrated with a water festival during the hottest time of the year. A mahoot is an elephant jockey.
