Three-year-old Zhang Weijian sits on the bed holding a dog at the to-be-demolished Zhangwanfen Village on June 21, 2008 in Chaoyang District of Beijing, China. Zhangwanfen Village, created by 10 villagers from Zhangbei County of Hebei Province in 1992, now has over 400 families after 16 year's development. Local government has forced to demolish the village to make way for modern development. There are more than 100 villages located in Beijing's urban fringe areas.
