A worker repairs glazed tiles on the roof of Cining Palace in the Forbidden City on April 22, 2008 in Beijing, China. The first phase of the Forbidden City renovation project, the biggest ever in a century, is near completion. The Hall of Supreme Harmony, the most important building in the Forbidden City, is expected to reopen for tourists in time for the Beijing Olympic Games. The overhaul project, started in 2002, is scheduled to be finished in 2020 and will cost over 2 billion yuan.
