Policemen attend a memorial ceremony for martyrs at Yuhuatai Martyr Memorial Park where a policeman martyr wall is completed, before the Qingming Festival on April 1, 2008 in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, China. There were about 3, 797 policeman injured or killed performing duties in China in 2007. The Qingming Festival, also known as the "Tomb Sweeping Day", will fall on April 4 of this year. The festival is a traditional time when people pay their respects to the deceased and ancestors, involving cleaning, repairing of tombs and sacrifice activities.
