Heather Kullorn Case Update — Mar 28th 2007
Earlier this year, Netscape's Dakota Smith wrote about Heather Kullorn, a missing girl from Richmond Heights, Missouri. Here's an exclusive update to that story. In addition, Smith spent last week in St. Louis interviewing people connected to the case, so look for more in-depth reporting on the Kullorn kidnapping over the next few weeks.
Exclusive:
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis plans to review the Heather Kullorn case as part of its new Cold Case division, according to Commander Bill Baker.
The 12-year-old girl disappeared from a Richmond Heights, Missouri apartment in July 1999. No one has ever been charged in her disappearance, but police continue to have a strong suspect, said Baker. "Reopening the case will give a fresh set of eyes to a homicide detective," he noted. "The detective will re-interview everyone, because there may have been something that someone missed."
Back in 1999, the Major Case Squad worked the Kullorn case for about six weeks, and then handed it back over to Richmond Heights Police.

4. maybe if the mayor and other governemnt officials spend more money on investigating would show more results
with very few dollars and very small number of investigators working overtime on numerous cases at once there its not to much to hope
would like to know how much money is spent on senators lunches and hotels and their "other" expensess while police investigators are overworking with no help
there schould be kids safety, healts and education on the first place
but how that can be done if parents are working overtime to pay for residential taxes which is going to congresman's and senators pockets and parents have no time to spend with their own kids
its time to cut residential taxes and increase wages so people can spend time with family
if the government need money they schoud figure out without robbing average john doe
maybe if they work for a change and dont talk to much
i feel sory for this kids being raped, tortured killed and no help from anywhere just after they found them we listen " congresional explanation" and few "sorry" from politicains who are bussy collecting money from us.
good luck
Stop the epidemic of abducted American children — 11:03AM on Apr 20th 2007
5. This seems to have become an epidemic in America which requires the attention of US Congress.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of innocent children suddenly vanish and never to be found again.
The case of Heather Kullorn from Richmond Heights Missouri s particularly disturbing.
She looks so young and very much like an angel.
How can such an innocent looking angel vanish? Where is she? Is she still alive by any chance? If she was abducted, who did it?
My hearts goes out to the parents, in particular, Christen Kullorn.
What is this world coming to when one can’t trust their friends anymore?
If Christen didn’t trust her friends Dana madden and Christopher Herbert and allow her daughter Heather to baby sit for them, most certainly she would not have been abducted and missing since 1999. What a sad tragedy.
